Samsung had earlier announced their Bada OS which we reported on. The new Bada OS is expected to be Samsung’s first choice and is expected to replace the Windows Mobile and Symbian OSes that Samsung mobiles currently use.
This is Samsung’s own OS and hence it makes it easier for development and incorporation into devices. Now reports say that Samsung is set to announce a phone which runs on Bada OS by the 1st Quarter of 2010. Announcement in 1st Quarter means availability by 2nd Quarter.

5 megapixel, Android 1.5, AWS 3G, Behold II, candybar, capacitive, Cupcake, GSM, hands on, Samsung, T-Mobile
The first one in its physical. Samsung Behold II is comfortable in hand. It has the ideal weight but the glossy plastic material makes it feels chintzy in hand. It has the pretty cool back cover but it will be easily scratched if you are careless. And then its 5-way navigational circle is friendly and the buttons is user friendly too (easy to press).
The interface seems not to be the user friendly one. It looks like the quite older interface: neon blues, neon orange, neon yellow and the background is black. You do not need to press the Menu key in order to unlock the screen. Instead you must press the unlock/lock key longer.

The wait is almost over for Verizon’s Samsung Omnia II. It may no longer be the first to launch in North America (that distinct honor now belongs to Bell), but we can finally say with some confidence that Verizon’s version of the Samsung Omnia II isn’t that far off. No, seriously: we’ve managed to get a peek at the carrier’s launch pack for the phone, and the big details here are that it’ll be launching in all channels (meaning telesales, online, and in-store) on December 2 for $199.99 on contract after a $100 mail-in rebate. That pricing puts it solidly in the upper echelon of Verizon’s offerings these days, yes — but when you consider that it’s got a 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED display, 8GB of internal storage plus microSD expansion, 5 megapixel cam, and WinMo 6.5 Professional (allaying earlier concerns that 6.1 would be on shipping units), we think they can justify the outlay. Especially if you can resist the pull of a Droid Eris for a Benjamin cheaper once you set foot in the store, of course.

Bada, the new open source platform of Samsung had been launched some days ago. This new open source platform is expected to give the better competence to the company’s rival such as iPhone and other Android handset.
Bada is set release in Q1 next year. Currently there is no much info can be found about this new platform. However some things are known like it sports the intuitive touch screen based user interface. The other is that Bada will take the most part of Symbian S60 devices manufactured by this Korean giant company.

Big chunk of rumor has arrived to my ears just now. According to our ninja folks at BGR, August 23rd is a big day for Samsung fans, since if the rumor is true than we will see several samsung phones ready to be sold, including the Gravity 2 (T-Mobile), Solstice (AT&T), Rogue (Verizon), U450 Intensity (Verizon), and of course the Samsung Omnia 2 (Verizon). What a long list.
Another surprise is the M330 (on the top of the list). There is no confirmation on what is it exactly. But we are sure that it’s not the Samsung’s or Mitsubishi’s phone from 5-6 years ago (there was M330 device back then). Anyway, the information has been sent, so be prepared, guys
We’ve heard about the eco-friendly budget phone from samsung, the Samsung Reclaim. Now it is time for a new rumor on the high-end version. So recently I heard this news saying that Samsung will release a high-end phone with AMOLED display on Q4 this year. According to my source, the Sprint will be the first one to carry the High-End Samsung phone.

Anyway, there is no confirmation on the codename whatsoever on this device. Some people speculates that it might be the InstinctQ. But remember, it is just a speculation….Another rumor is that Samsung will reveal an Android phone that is priced under $100… Stay tune to find out the latest news about this high-end phone

If you buy the phone from Sprint, you will donate $2 for The Nature Conservancy’s Adopt an Acre program, which supports land conservation across the United States and protects some of the world’s most beautiful and important natural habitats.
Talking about the specs and features, Sprint claimed that the Samsung Reclaim is more than just an eco-friendly phones. It got several cool features, such as:
