Samsung Application Store hits South Korea

The Samsung Application Store has arrived in its home market at South Korea, where it will be a part of SK Telecom’s App Store. Targeting a December 18 release date, it will function as It’s scheduled to go live tomorrow and will operate as a ‘Shop inside a Shop’ concept. There won’t be a whole host of apps at first, although Samsung claims that they will throw in more in the coming weeks with some entertainment titles such as SimCity, Ferrari GT and Monopoly.

But where can we Samsung phone users can search for an app? well, application Store fever finally arrives in Samsung and according to the buzzes over at the internet, the Korean manufacturer is testing a store in UK. In the said store you’ll find full length movies and an Application Seller Site portal.

Another great news is that Symbian and WinMo developers are allowed to sell their apps via this portal. Rumor said that Samsung will officially launch the Samsung Application Store in Europe this September. That is a great news, isn’t that?

Anyway, if you are happened to be a developers, you probably want to sign up for the new site portal for just $1. After that you’ll be able to start selling apps soon.

Can’t wait to see the real thing :)
