Samsung Blue Earth in action in its first video….

So after the Samsung Blue Earth got its official name of Samsung S7550, recently the green phone is also got framed in a camera :) The Samsung S7550 Blue Earth, which the case was made from recycled plastics (water bottles plastics, to be exact) posed in a video that starts with the solar charging action of the Samsung Blue Earth S7550.

To support the solar panel, Samsung S7550 Blue Earth also uses a battery. But do not worry. Its charger is apparently energy efficient.

Anyway, the video is 4.5 length, and here are some things to remember about the Samsung Blue Earth S7550’s eco-friendly features:

  • * 1 hour of solar charging gets you 10 minutes of talk or 2 days of standby
  • * Touchscreen
  • * Solar panel
  • * Front and rear facing cameras
  • * Eco-walk – essentially a pedometer that calculates how far you’ve walked and determines how much carbon you are saving by not driving
  • * The handset housing is made from recyclable plastics, owing to its eco-friendly roots

Meanwhile, enjoy the video after the jump :) (more…)
