Samsung has Unveiled Their Latest Processor

Somedays ago the Korean company had unveiled their latest smartphone processor namely ARM Cortex-A8. Along with it, Samsung also announced the bigger one designed for netbooks. The latter comes with a 5 Mpx system-on-chip image sensor with capability for processing 1080p video at 30 fps.

The smartphone chipset (S5PC110) and the netbook alternative ( S5PV210) have been designed for better battery endurable. They use a 45-nanometer (nm) Low Power of fabrication process as well as low power of architectures. They feature 1GHz clock speed with 512KB L2 cache. Other than that, you can find on them support for 1080p full HD video playback as well as recording at 30 fps and the built-in 3D graphics engine. They come with various peripherals and interfaces like USB 2.0 host interface and HDMI 1.3. In order to get the mobile phone capable of full HD video recording, those processors are featured with 5 Mpx image sensor.

January 2010 is the predicted month for the camera module mass production. Then those 2 CPU can be seen in December.
