Coming Soon, CDMA-based Corby S3650

Although the Samsung Corby S3650 is a GSM-based handset, that doesn’t stop the Korean company from releasing the CDMA version, as well. Apparently, Samsung plans to do just that so it could sell its fancy all-touchscreen device to subscribers of India’s carriers like Reliance and Tata.
If released — and we believe that will happen — the Corby would be the first CDMA all-touchscreen phone sold in India, packing all of the features its GSM cousin has. That includes a 2.8-inch QVGA display, FM radio, 2-megapixel camera, media player, microSD card slot, Bluetooth, TouchWIZ UI, as well as pre-loaded apps for accessing popular social network services such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
We’ve also heard the price – the CDMA Samsung Corby will cost 10,000 INR, which is about $216. At that price, it should sell like hot cupcakes, or at least me thinks so.
As a sidenote, Samsung is also working on a WiFi-enabled version of Corby.
