Samsung’s WinMo 6.5-packin’ Omnia II has been available to Verizon Wireless customers (or at least those unaffected by the Droid) for a few weeks now, but strangely, we’ve yet to see a proper dissection of this here smartphone until today. That said, we’re sure the patience you’ve put into this will pay off after after heading past the break, where all of the itty-bitty internals are shown in stunning detail for your entertainment / education. As a good gal we once knew would say: “Ain’t that the berries!”
Here’s video of Augmented Reality application for Windows Mobile demoed on the Samsung Omnia 2. Is this the first augmented reality app for Windows Mobile?
Phonedog has published a video review of the Samsung Behold 2 and let me tell you – that was one hell of a painful video (for Samsung) to watch. Sure, the phone *looks* nice but to at least one reviewer.. is a disaster.
John went out of his way to repeatedly point out what he hates about the phone (which is appreciated, keep it up!). Check the video out for yourself but here is a little preview of what he says.
Aaron from Phonedog.com gets his hands on the Samsung Mythic, available at AT&T. Is it just another touchscreen feature phone, or is it worthy of separation from the pack? We’ll find out.
What are you expecting when you cross the Samsung Pixon with the Samsung Jet and throw in a 12 megapixelled digital camera while you’re at it? You get Samsung’s newest Pixon 12! In my opinion, this is the Samsung Pixon the way it should have been from the start, as far as usability is concerned.
TouchWiz 2.0, insane camera, for a non-smartphone, what’s there not to love? If you ask me? I think Samsung still needs to work on their on-screen keyboard. What does this phone mean to you? Why don’t you watch this episode of Gear65 and let us know if you like what you see!

Dak over at mobilewhack.com and people out there may ask the same question. Is the image OmniaPRO in model number B7610 or a new Samsung handset called Samsung Houdini? Looking at the picture, we know that it has similar design with OmniaPRO with the only difference in its small smiley in the bottom with silver color. It looks like this button is send/end button. So what we got here are a series of screenshot pictures of the long-awaited Samsung Omnia 2. For all of you U.S. who are still waiting for the device, well, lets wait for the official word from Samsung while enjoying these screenshot made my our folks from ai.rs blog.
What makes these screenshots interesting is the fact that Windows Mobile 6.5 Pro is combined with the TouchWiz 2.0… well, the result? pretty good, in my opinion. Check out more screenshots after the break (more…)
