Samsung to Show off DLP Pico Projector Phones at MWC

We think Samsung will get big attention at next week’s MWC because there are so many products to show at the event. One of the most interesting is Samsung DLP The I7410 and W7900 will be Samsung’s first to offer a DLP pico projector.

The new phones are, in fact, one model that will be sold under different names in different markets. The pico projector will enable the user to view various image sizes, up to as much as 50 inches depending on ambient light conditions.

Happily, the pico projector’s not the only redeeming quality of the I7410/W7900.

The Samsung I7410 will also be sporting:

* OLED high-resolution color touchscreen
* 5 MP camera
* View Powerpoint Presentations
* Email Attachments
* Flashlight
* Flick navigation to view presentations

These are the major features so far revealed. Needless to say, we’re glad that Samsung decided to throw in other much-desired features in the phone in addition to the projector.

We can expect the W7900 to be on sale sometime this month in Korea, while the I7410 will be in Europe sometime soon.

The picture doesn’t make the phone look very thin, but i4u.com reports it will have a sleek and lightweight design — so we’re hopeful that it won’t be terribly bulky.

Samsung Acme i8910

Published: Feb 9th, 2009 | Author: Alex Bhaswara Add Comment

Leaks on Samsung is getting frequent as the World Mobile Congress 2009 comes closer. After T929, Omnia and Innov, now comes Acme. The smart phone is rumored to have an 8 megapixel camera that supports HD recording, a touchscreen of undefined size, GPS, HDMI output, Wi-Fi with DLNA certification, 3.5mm socket, and compatibilities on DNLA and DivX. 16GB and 8GB versions might be available.

Now, the specs sound all to familiar to its predecessor the Samsung Omnia, except for its memory boosting option of 16GB, so it comes at no shock that the some mobile phone experts have already been comparing it to the Apple iPhone. Apart from a few differences I can definitely see the similarities, however only time will tell when this is released to see how it stacks up to its rival.

You can check out the coolness of its exterior in some pics below. It’s a bit slim anyway.

Unofficial Shots of Samsung B5702 Dual SIM phone

Published: Feb 9th, 2009 | Author: Alex Bhaswara Add Comment

The so-called Samsung B5702 Dual SIM phone is for active businessman who works with so many connections, as ‘B’ here is for ‘Business’. Samsung was the first major manufacturer to start making dual SIM phones, and this is their fifth dual SIM mobile phone. Previous Dual SIM phones comprised Samsung D880 Duos, Samsung D780, Samsung D980, as well as Samsung S9502 Duos, which mostly targeted at either Eastern Europe or Asia.

We only can guess that the B5702 will have a 256K color QVGA display, but it has not been confirmed. There should be some smart LED system above the display to let you know which SIM card you are currently using, but we don’t know yet.
