Samsung readies more lady phones. Samsung has always been known to be an aggressive company aimed to deliver mobile handsets for any class and gender and it seems that they have something in the works to perk up its LadyPhone lineup. For now all we can gather is that it will be codenamed Samsung Marina, but apart from that, don’t expect any photos or specs. All we can do for now is speculate and critics have started doing so by expecting a high-end phone and supposedly in step with Samsung’s quality control for its family of handsets. But if it is really aimed at ladies, expect a feminine touch starting with the color (pink or lavender?) and the keypards (smaller). We just have to wait and see if there is any truth to this rumor for now!
Samsung had earlier announced their Bada OS which we reported on. The new Bada OS is expected to be Samsung’s first choice and is expected to replace the Windows Mobile and Symbian OSes that Samsung mobiles currently use.
This is Samsung’s own OS and hence it makes it easier for development and incorporation into devices. Now reports say that Samsung is set to announce a phone which runs on Bada OS by the 1st Quarter of 2010. Announcement in 1st Quarter means availability by 2nd Quarter.

We got this information about Samsung GT M8000 from wap.samsungmobile.com; and we have to admit that this phone might be interesting… according to the profile at the wap portal of samsung, the Samsung GT M8000 might a touchscreen phone that uses a Symbian S60v5. The display will also use 640×360 pixel resolution, which is great.
Samsung GT M8000 ratio display will be 16:9; which makes some people speculate that Samsung might sell the device as ‘perfect for watching movies’ or something.
Another specs include a 3.15 MP camera and HSDPA connectivity. Let’s just wait until the phone reveal itself 
Now that everyone’s already know about the first Samsung Android phone, the Samsung i7500 Galaxy, I think it is time to introduce the South Korean manufacturer’s second android device; called the Samsung InstinctQ M900.
Recently we found several leaked pictures of Samsung InstinctQ M900; contributed by our friends at the Phandroid. This second android phone from Samsung has a Sprint branding on its case and it is also powered with a QWERTY keyboard.

Yap, that is the latest info buzzing over at the internet about the Samsung Galaxy i7500; the very first Samsung phone to utilize the open source OS Android. According to our source, it seems that the Samsung Galaxy i7500 will be available via O2 UK network.And if that is not enough, some rumor also said that the Galaxy i7500 are already in stock, ready to be sold on 17 August 2009.
If you’re asking about the source, well… Some sites over at the internet claimed that some O2 employees have reported their sightings of the Samsung Galaxy i7500. However, after some search on the O2 website, we couldn’t find the fact that it is listed. The price is still unknown too… Well, rumor is still a rumor… Do not get too excited yet, since there is no confirmation on the rumor I brought you here…. There has been numerous rumors buzzing over at the internet about this Samsung Instinct sucessor… Some call the next gen of Samsung Instinct as Samsung Instinct2, some call it as M850, and some call it Dash…. It is just crazy, I never seen any phone that has so many names before it is officially launched. lol.
Today the new Successor of Samsung Instinct has got a new name, the Samsung Instinct HD. The word came out from Intomobile and right now I’m still wondering which one is the real name of the Instinct 2nd gen. Anyway, what’s in a name, right? What’s more important is: if the name of the 2nd gen Instinct is really the Samsung Instinct HD, will it be capable of recording HD video like the Omnia HD? What do you think?
Another Samsung Solar-Powered phone has got an official name. No, it is not the budget phone Samsung E1107. This one is the Samsung Blue Earth, the solar powered Samsung phone that was introduced back in February 09.
Anyway, the Samsung Blue Earth’s official name is Samsung S7750. That being said, here are several features related to the green side of the Samsung S7750 Blue Earth:
- 1 hour of solar charging gets you 10 minutes of talk or 2 days of standby
- Touchscreen
- Solar panel
- Front and rear facing cameras
- Eco-walk – essentially a pedometer that calculates how far you’ve walked and determines how much carbon you are saving by not driving
- The handset housing is made from recyclable plastics, owing to its eco-friendly roots
Our source is saying that we might be able to see the Samsung Blue Earth S7750 on the street later this year. So let’s cross your fingers with me, earth lovers
Ok, here is another news to accompany you while you are waiting for August 23rd, when many Samsung devices will be reavealed. So we haven’t heard anything about the Samsung A797 and strangely, the pics showed up on Craiglist and it is being sold for only $115.
Specs wise, the Samsung A797 is said to have a touchscreen display, QWERTY keyboard, MP3 player and Bluetooth. Other specs and features is still unknown.
No further info is available about the device, including the release date. However, we are guessing that AT&T will soon announce the Samsung A797 soon…
Soon after I posted an article about the rumor on Samsung phones on August 23rd, I found another interesting rumor over at the internet saying that on September 3rd Sprint will launch the Samsung Instinct s50. The source? it was taken from a leaked Sprint document.
Anyway, the Samsung Instinct s50 is still unsighted until now. The information we got on the subject is still very litle and no one -as far as I know- have seen the device. Speculation arises on the device are saying that the phone could use the AMOLED display and Android OS? No one knows for sure right now. Let’s just wait and see
Other samsung devices that is on the document was M330 and M240… hmm, I wonder what they look like….
Big chunk of rumor has arrived to my ears just now. According to our ninja folks at BGR, August 23rd is a big day for Samsung fans, since if the rumor is true than we will see several samsung phones ready to be sold, including the Gravity 2 (T-Mobile), Solstice (AT&T), Rogue (Verizon), U450 Intensity (Verizon), and of course the Samsung Omnia 2 (Verizon). What a long list.
Another surprise is the M330 (on the top of the list). There is no confirmation on what is it exactly. But we are sure that it’s not the Samsung’s or Mitsubishi’s phone from 5-6 years ago (there was M330 device back then). Anyway, the information has been sent, so be prepared, guys
