During the launch of their new app store Samsung offers a competition which has provided total $330,000 of prize for the winners. Each of the top winners (two developers) will get $100,000 prizes. The 4 runner ups will bring $10,000 each. The remaining are 10 $5000 prizes and 20 $2000 prizes.

Samsung I5700 Spica may has been heard 2 weeks ago. Now the video has come that worth a look. See here.

This Android phone is still awaiting its official announcement, following its bigger brother Samsung I7500 Galaxy.

Through the rumours out there we know that Samsung I5700 Spica will be featured with a large 3.2″ capacitive AMOLED touchscreen and runs on Android OS v1.5 (known as Cupcake).

Seeing the video, you may know that no changes on the Android UI. It still uses the plain Android but no problem for it. Samsung I5700 Spica that known as Galaxy Lite also features Bluetooth, 3.2 Mpx camera, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, built-in GPS.

It seems T-Mobile has some offers for this November. They seem to be Samsung Behold II and T-Mobile Tap.

Samsung Behold II is the first Android phone from Samsung and T-Mobile. It features AMOLED touchscreen, Samsung cube menu for your quick access to the frequently accessed apps and customizable home screen. It supports 3G and WiFi. Samsung Behold II is expected in November 18th.

Review of Samsung i7500 Galaxy

This great phone runs on great OS. It has 3.2″ AMOLED capacitive touchscreen and 5Mpx camera. But no camera options there so the Galaxy just takes “point and shoot”. It offers the good browse and connectivity and also Flash support. Its nice screen is designed for video watching with the squarish aspect ratio. There is no video support for DivX or XviD. If you want to use Facebook and other apps that not preinstalled, just go to the official apps. It features 8GB of internal memory plus a 16GB card slot.

Have you still remembered Samsung S7550 Blue Earth? It seems that this eco friendly phone will take its first place in Sweden, all places. The other countries will follow such as France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Portugal and other European and Asian countries. The phone will get its first selling in this month.

Just for information, Samsung S7550 Blue Earth is capable for charging from the sun. It has a good functionality of GPS navigation and Wi-Fi. The other thing is that it brings the TouchWizardry that helps to make the crowd entertained.

Although it is not the slimmest phone, it looks like Samsung B7620 Giorgio Armani has the normal size of its segment. Comparing with HTC Touch Pro2 it has 10 g lighter weight.

Running on WinMo 6.5 Sammy has wrapped this phone with the nice UI. In the software term it is not far different than Samsung B7610 OmniaPRO. It supports the switching between Work and Leisure mode and business minded handset.

So it is confirmed. The Samsung Moment keyboard may not meet the standard of CLIQ/DEXT. But the qwerty keyboard does the best in feel. This slide out keyboard is clicky and need a little bit pressure for actuating individual keys. It will not make you frustrated and only feel a little solid.

So the phone seems a little bulky but featured with the decent OLED screen. It is as gorgeous as Magic and G1. People have not yet tested this screen indoors until they get the review unit. (more…)

Finally the Android phone of Samsung and T-Mobile had been announced. This candybar phone is equipped with 5 Mpx camera with flash, autofocus and video recording. It also brings the 3.2-inch AMOLED display, microSD expansion up to 16GB, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1. The usual user interface is similar with the other Samsung smartphone, Touch Wiz. It features 3 dimensions cube menu for quick access rotating menu for YouTube access, web browsing, photos, internet, videos and download MP3 files from Amazon.
