Rogers Wireless Readies Samsung Propel and Samsung Gravity

Samsung Propel and Samsung Gravity headed to Canada, via Rogers. Both phones are targeted for users who text a lot while on the go, and sport sliding QWERTY keyboards. The keyboard is a horizontal one on the Gravity and a vertical one on the Propel.

Mobile Syrup has it that the largest Canadian carrier might release the new Samsung handsets in the next few weeks. Details about their prices are missing, but you should know that, in the US, they’re offered for as low as $49 (Samsung Gravity) and $79 (Samsung Propel).

More Android and LiMo based Smartphones from Samsung this Year

It seems that we will see more Android and  LiMo Linux based smartphone from Samsung this year. Accourding to Reuters, One of the largest managers of Samsung Won-Pyo Hong said that Samsung is preparing at least three Android-smartphone, as well as a device based on the LiMo Linux.

The decision on what the market will first be released mobile devices running Android and LiMo, the company Samsung has not yet been adopted. However, Won-Pyo Hong expressed his confidence that by the end of 2009, new Linux-smartphone Samsung to appear in both Europe and the USA.
